Green Tiki Restaurant
Green Tiki is a tropical restaurant dedicated to a movement of eco-conscious dining that doesn’t come at the expense of taste or experience. With a passion for sustainability, the restaurant is guiding their consumers to integrate environmental consciousness into every aspect of the brand. The brand focuses on the depths of the ocean and how they can show their consumer how they can do their part on the preservation of the ocean. Green TIki embraces the beauty in our surroundings and on our plates. The restaurant focuses on serving smaller portions to make each bite mindful. Locally sourced ingredients are infuse each dish. The restaurant’s dedication to low waste practices, from minimal packaging to composting, ensures that every meal leaves only footprints in the sand.
The branding of Green Tiki is bright, bold and colorful to bring the feelings of the tropics to every aspect of the brand. Each illustration was custom created for this brand and represents a different endangered animal. Green Tiki is hosting an opening event where their consumers can purchase a ticket to enjoy new menu items, live, music, and a ray touch tank.
BRANDING
Green Tiki’s mobile app was designed after extensive research on their competitors. I was inspired by Sweetgreen’s branding and how they integrate illustrations into their brand. The personality of Sweetgreen is very transparent, casual, and friendly. These were all aspect I was looking to achieve. The mobile app features new and popular menu items as well as mobile ordering. Customers are given the option of customizing their orders and leave requests while on the app to ensure their orders are made to their liking upon pickup.
